About Louise
With years of experience behind the chair, Louise is known for creating effortlessly wearable styles that her clients can manage and love at home. She believes in working with the hair’s natural texture rather than against it, and has a talent for understanding what people want, especially those with lots of hair or more complex needs.
Cutting is where Louise truly shines, combining technical skill with an intuitive approach that leaves guests feeling confident and seen. Her ability to mood-match and mirror her guests' energy means everyone feels instantly at ease in her chair.
As the director of Salon Cabelo, Louise is passionate about growing the business and the team. Outside of the salon, she enjoys learning new skills, horse riding, and relaxing at home with a good book and her dogs.
Meet Our Founder
Salon Cabelo was founded by Louise, a dedicated hair professional with over 20 years of experience. Her journey into hairdressing began unexpectedly when she attended a night school course during maternity leave. What started as a creative outlet soon grew into a true passion, leading Louise to pursue a career in the industry. With a desire to challenge herself, she set out to create a salon that offers a welcoming, relaxing space where guests can enjoy premium, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly products.
Louise is dedicated to supporting her team’s development, providing guidance and opportunities for growth. She takes an active role in mentoring apprentices and overseeing the salon’s new talent program, helping to build the skills and confidence of the next generation of stylists

Her focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail ensures that both the team and guests benefit from a professional yet friendly salon environment.
Why the Name Salon Cabelo?
"Salon Cabelo" translates to "Hair Salon" in Portuguese, The inspiration for this name came from my experiences and connections to Brazil. During a visit to Brazil just before opening the salon, I was drawn to all the salon signs reading “Salon Cabelo”. Additionally, my family ties to Brazil made the name feel particularly meaningful and appropriate.

Salon Co-Ordinator
About Lucy
Lucy has been a valued part of the Salon Cabelo family for many years, keeping everything running smoothly both front of house and behind the scenes. She’s the friendly face who welcomes guests with warmth and efficiency, while also managing the salon’s marketing and supporting Louise in day-to-day operations.
She’s currently studying for a Multimedia Marketing for Salons apprenticeship (Level 3), building on her creative strengths and helping elevate the salon’s brand across social media and beyond.
Outside the salon, Lucy loves hiking, exploring new countries, and spending quality time with friends and family. She’s a natural helper and a true team player – always ready to lend a hand and make someone’s day a little brighter.

About Claudia
Claudia is the first friendly face you’ll see when you arrive at Salon Cabelo. Known for her warm, welcoming nature and super-organised approach, she helps keep the front of house running smoothly while making sure every guest feels at ease.
She brings a kind, calming presence to the salon and loves being part of a creative, people-focused environment.
Outside the salon, Claudia enjoys fashion, crafting, history, and spending time with animals – all things that reflect her eye for detail and caring nature.

With over 17 years of experience and an Aveda Colour Masters qualification, Ayden brings a bubbly energy and a deep passion for transformation to every appointment. She loves how hairdressing constantly evolves, keeping things fresh with changing trends, seasons and techniques, and she’s always learning to stay at the top of her game.
She specialises in creative colour work and enjoys nothing more than helping guests feel confident, refreshed and completely themselves.
Ayden’s favourite services include:

With a passion for healthy, beautiful hair, Lisa blends her love of classic cutting with a deep knowledge of hair biology and scalp care. Her calming, down-to-earth nature makes her a go-to for guests looking for thoughtful, personalised advice.
She has a special interest in supporting clients through all stages of womanhood, including postpartum, perimenopausal and menopausal hair changes – and takes a holistic approach to hair care.

With over 10 years of experience on the salon floor, Abbie brings a calm, relaxed energy to every appointment. She’s passionate about helping her clients feel like the best version of themselves – confident, cared for and 10/10 when they leave the chair.
Abbie loves the ever-evolving world of hairdressing and enjoys learning new skills to stay ahead of the game. Her favourite days in the salon are spent combining creativity with precision in both colour and cutting.

Grace is just beginning her first year as a hairdressing apprentice, after spending several months as a Saturday assistant at Salon Cabelo. Calm-natured and kind, she’s passionate about making people feel valued and confident, and loves learning new ways to care for guests in the salon.
She’s particularly enjoying learning how to deliver relaxing treatments and is excited to keep building her skills as she progresses through her training.
Outside of the salon, Grace enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, being with family and friends, and looking after her much-loved farm animals.
